In Durg district, several development schemes are being implemented by the Central and State governments, through which rural development is taking place. In Durg district, under the Chief Minister's Comprehensive Village Development Scheme, in the last four years, 1221 CC road construction works, 99 Nirmala Ghat constructions, 50 Muktidham constructions, 82 community halls constructions, 198 drains constructions, 13 commercial complexes constructions, 04 mini stadiums constructions, 3 Atal Samrasta Bhawan constructions and 42 other development works have been carried out.
