Abstracts Water quality is about the physical, chemical and biological characteristcs of water, determining its suitability for uses like drinking, recreation,or supporting ecosystem, assessed by parameters like pH, dissolved oxygen, temperature, turbidity, nutrients, and microbial life, with standards set by bodies like the EPA to manage pollution and protect public health and the environment.
