Abstract

The objective of this randomized controlled clinical study was to investigate the effectiveness of a multimodal neurotechnological intervention in promoting healthy longevity in a healthy adult population aged 50 to 60 years. The intervention, systematically applied over three years, included personalized EEG neurofeedback, gamma cerebral photobiomodulation (40 Hz), psycho-physiological biofeedback (heart-brain coherence), and non-invasive transcutaneous vagal stimulation, assessed via key indicators such as heart rate variability (HRV - RMSSD), perceived physiological stress (GP8 score), and global EEG coherence. The results indicate statistically and clinically significant improvements in assessed parameters. Specifically, robust increases in HRV (RMSSD), substantial reductions in perceived physiological stress, and significant increases in global EEG coherence were observed in the experimental group compared to controls. Effects were evident from initial therapeutic sessions and were consolidated over the three-year period. This study significantly contributes to the development of preventive medicine by supporting the early implementation of neurotechnologies to enhance cognitive and emotional resilience, optimize neurophysiological functions, and slow age-related biological decline. The practical applicability of the tested protocol provides a scientifically validated and reproducible new direction in active prevention, integrable within clinical and community contexts, thus opening new perspectives in modern approaches to healthy longevity.
