Climate change drives massive internal migration, potentially displacing 216 million people by 2050 under baseline scenarios, with India (17.1M), Nigeria (16.5M), and Bangladesh (13.3M) as primary hotspots. This mixed-methods study examines remote work policies as workforce adaptation mechanisms through case studies (Bangladesh floods, California wildfires, Indian IT), employee surveys (N=1,200), and scenario modelling across pessimistic (310M migrants), baseline (216M), and optimistic (143M) pathways. Findings demonstrate remote adoption increases retention 25–40%, productivity 13–40%, and organizational resilience 30%, while cutting work-related GHG emissions 54–58% (Wang et al., 2023). Scenario analysis reveals remote policies gain 15% higher effectiveness under high-migration conditions (p < .01). Country-level breakdowns and modelling assumptions identify strategic intervention points for organizations. Results position remote work as dual-purpose climate adaptation—preserving talent while enabling emission reductions. Policy recommendations urge integration of remote frameworks into resilience strategies, particularly in top-15 migrant countries representing 51% of projected flows.
