Abstract This study explores the syntactic challenges that Arabic-speaking English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners face, focusing on error analysis techniques for addressing sentence structure issues. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and error analysis of writing samples. Findings show that common errors among learners include incorrect verb tense, punctuation, and word order due to linguistic transfer from Arabic to English. This paper provides insight into effective self-correction practices, such as using digital tools and peer review, to help learners overcome these challenges. Implications for pedagogical approaches tailored to address linguistic interference are discussed.
