Anthropometry is the study of scientific methods and techniques that are involved in measuring the human body. It has numerous advantages in studying the variation of physical features of humans over the years, the field of forensic investigations, and palaeoanthropology. Facial anthropometry is that part of it that focuses on the study of the face. It helps in identifying race, ethnicity, sex, and age. This study focuses on various indexes that include a nasal, cephalic, facial and orbital. A nasal index is an important anthropometric parameter that aids in classifying different types of noses. The cephalic index studies the different types of heads. The Facial Index is a metric that expresses how wide a person's face is concerning how long it is. The orbital cavity is measured using orbital index that is the ratio of the height and width of the orbital cavity multiplied by 100. These anthropometric features are important for the study of the human face and are helpful to researchers and scientists in analyzing the history and development of humans.
