Abstract

BACKGROUND:.Paediatric hair disorders differ from that of adults in frequency, etiology and clinical patterns. dermoscopy is a rapid inoffice technique, which has become a standard procedure in the differential diagnosis of hair loss. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: To study the clinical, dermoscopic profile of the children with hair disorders presenting to the department of DVL OPD at santhiram medical college and general hospital,nandyal. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 60 children of age group between 014years withhair disorders attending DVL department from May 2023 to October 2023 were takenfor study. Clinica l dermoscopic examination was done and photographs were taken.Data was recorded in prestructured proforma which was tabulated and analysed.RESULTS:.
