Abstract- BACKGROUND: Cumulative Musculoskeletal Disorder is a major cause of concern in health of physiotherapy students and main causes of sick leave as it affects the ability, efficiency, well-being, productivity, quality of work and performance of individuals, as well as leading to restrictions on the normal activities of students. This study’s objective is to determine the prevalence of cumulative musculoskeletal disorders among physiotherapy students and examining its correlation to physical activity as study provides data & raising awareness among students about the proper ergonomics & physical activity in preventing musculoskeletal issues is crucial for overall health & well-being. AIM: To study the prevalence of Cumulative musculoskeletal disorders and its correlation to Physical activity among Physiotherapy students. OBJECTIVE: To determine the prevalence of cumulative musculoskeletal disorders among physiotherapy students and To investigate the correlation between cumulative musculoskeletal disorders and physical activity among physiotherapy students. MATERIALS AND METHOD: Cross-sectional study was done in Dr. Ulhas Patil College of Physiotherapy, Jalgaon. All the patients were assessed for pain, numbness and for physical activity using Nordic questionnaire and International physical activity questionnaire. RESULT: The result indicates a significant association between Cumulative musculoskeletal disorders and physical activity, particularly in specific areas such as neck(p<0.018), elbow(p<0.028), lower back(p<0.030) and ankle(p<0.039). CONCLUSION: There is high prevalence of Cumulative musculoskeletal disorders among physiotherapy students and emphasizes a significant correlation between these disorders and physical activity levels.
