Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in developed countries, and 12% of breast cancer occurs in women 20-34 years. Second rank among causes of cancer-related death in women. Breast cancer most frequently malignancy in women worldwide and is curable in 70-80% of patients with early-stage, non- metastatic disease. Breast cancer is a life-threatening disease in women worldwide. Aegle marmelos, commonly known as Bael and belonging to the family Rutaceae. It is an important medicinal plant in the traditional Indian system of medicine, the Ayurveda system. The extract is prepared by boiling the bark, leaves, and roots, in water and it's useful for diabetics, inflammation, ophthalmia, etc. The fruit is useful for diarrhoea, breast cancer, stomach aches, and cardiac ailments. Bael’s ethnomedicinal properties such as antimicrobial effects, hypoglycemic, astringent, antidiarrheal, antidysenteric, demulcent, analgesic, anti- inflammatory, antipyretic, wound-healing, insecticidal, and gastroprotective properties. Shows that some of the Bael phytochemicals possess antineoplastic, radioprotective, chemoprotective, and chemopreventive effects, properties efficacious in the treatment and prevention of cancer.
