Abstract, history, Introduction of toothpastes.
Toothpaste is a paste or gel used with a toothbrush to maintain and improve oral health and well- being. Toothpaste recipes have changed a lot since they were created thousands of years ago, from a suspension of crushed eggs or ash to a combination of more than 20 ingredients. These in clude compounds that combat cavities, gum disease, bad breath, tartar, erosion and dentin hypers ensitivity. Additionally, toothpaste contains abrasives that clean and clean teeth, fragrances that freshen breath, and dyes that improve eyesight. Good toothpaste is designed to provide maximm bioavailability of its active ingredients. However, this can be difficult because there are comprmises that must be made when creating multiple variables in a single stage. The development toothpaste is far from complete, as there are many difficulties, especially te bad breath of most components has not yet been overcome. The next section provides a brief overview of toothpaste history, ingredients and uses, shipping l abels, and safety considerations.
