Abstract:
The main purpose of this study was to explore the use of the Community of Inquiry Model in enhancing the students' online engagement. The research addressed the question " What effect can community of Inquiry Model have on Korean University Students' Engagement in the online learning environment amidst the COVID 19 Pandemic? After analyzing and reflecting on the data produced, the research found that the Community of Inquiry Model embedded in the course activities enhanced the Korean University Students' engagement in the online learning environment. Positive outcomes were revealed in the data findings in all the cycles of the action research.
