Abstract:	Abstract: The popularity of the Internet and the introduction of Web 2.0 technologies have led to big data analytics recently becoming a significant research area. Additionally, social media applications widespread use and adoption have presented a variety of opportunities and difficulties for researchers and practitioners. Because their background information and daily activities are combined, users of social media platforms generate enormous amounts of data. Recent years have seen a lot of research into this enormous amount of generated data known as "big data”.To get a comprehensive understanding of the research topic of social media big data analytics, a review of recent works is presented. Based on significant features, we categorise the literature. Additionally, this study contrasts possible big data analytics methods and their quality attributes.
