In this study, we have proposed a new generalization ofweibull-gamma frailty model is an expanded version of the classical frailty model. The conditional survival function given the frailty is directly modeled in this study as opposed to the standard frailty model, which takes into account modeling of the hazard function. The maximum likelihood technique is used in a simulation study with theE-M algorithm. Then we canapply the suggested model tokidney infection data
