Abstract: Abstract-Bone age assessment is also called the skeletal age, which indicates the child's development. It detects metabolic and endocrine disarrangement in the product. The bone age assessment provides better age information from the bones than from the birth date in chronicle age estimation. Usually, the hand and wrist x-ray images are generally taken for the BAA system. It has been noticed that the X-ray method is more convenient and reliable than other manual methods. Therefore, the proposed work presents a fully automated DL approach for BAA. In this paper, the hand-wrist x-ray images of different categories like 0,1,2,3, etc., are taken as a dataset online. Each image is left-sided people and tagged along with the information of age and gender. Firstly, it will upload the X-ay images and convert them into 2d and 3d formats. The noise distortion has also been removed from the images via filtration, and edge detection has occurred. This stage is followed by feature extraction, which is the most significant step in the process.
