Over the last decade composite material have been the dominant emerging material in the modern industries. MMC is light weight, high performance, structural materials mainly used in Aerospace, Automotive, Biotechnology, Nuclear and Consumer related industries. There are main feature in MMC, (1) matrix and (2) reinforcement. To obtain a good quality MMC, metal is used as matrix and as reinforcement hard particles/ceramics are used. Al alloy is advanced material used as matrix material. The mechanical properties of the produced MMC is generally depends on the composition of composite and also the fabrication techniques. This paper represent the review on Al based Composite material and the effect of reinforcement material and the effect of process parameters of centrifugal casting on the final product.
