Road transport is the lifeline of any nation and its development is a crucial concern.The traditional bitumen pavements and there needs for continuous maintenance and rehabilitation operations points towards the scope for cement concrete pavement.There are several advantages of cement concrete pavement over bituminous pavements. This paper explains a " Polymer Fibre Reinforced Concrete Pavement" which is a recent advancement in the field of reinforced concrete pavement design.FRC pavements prove to be more efficient than conventional RC pavements.
