Abstract:
HOW“Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear.” Sarva-dharman parityajya,Mam ekam saranam vraja Aham tvam sarva-pape bhyo,Moksayisyami ma sucah (Gita 18/66), The purpose of Bhagavat- Gita is to deliver mankind from the slavery of material existence. Every man is in difficulty in so many ways, as Arjuna also was in difficulty in having to fight the Battle of Kuruksetra with their own relatives. Not only Arjuna but every one of us is full of anxieties because of this material existence. When we see wonderful things happening in the cosmic nature, we should know that behind this cosmic manifestation there is a controller. Nothing could be manifested without being controlled. When we are materially contaminated, we are called conditioned. False consciousness is exhibited under the impression of that I am the product of Material nature. All Vedic knowledge is infallible. So Bhagavad-Gita contains the complete knowledge of Vedic wisdom. Indian philosophy of keeping mind and body for the well-being has entered the managerial domain of the world. The purpose of this paper is to develop an ethical motivational formula based on complete Vedic philosophy preached in the Bhagavat –Gita. Motivation is the set of reasons that determines one to engage in a particular behavior. The term is generally used for human motivation but, theoretically, it can be used to describe the causes for animal behavior as well. This article refers to human motivation.
