Abstract

Explicit language threatens autonomy. This qualitative study described information disseminated by interviewers’ and interviewees’ for explicitness and, techniques employed for mitigating threat to autonomy. A structured open-ended questionnaire was administered to a purposive sample. Thematic analyses and interpretation are presented.
