Paper Title: Failure Analysis on Electrical System Problem to the Small LED Screen In Case Study : Parking Car Building on Shopping Mall

Abstract: This paper presents an analysis of the problems of electrical failures caused by the use of small LED screens with dimension is 1.6 meters wide and 5.76 meters long or 9.216 (m2) with installed indoor the car park building, inside department store or shopping mall. The analysis the causes of problems in the LED screen on electrical system know the important factors that cause the failure of the electrical system from this inside of LED system to a fire incident at the LED screen of electrical system which consisted of the LED module, SMPS power supply, wire, and other electrical and electronic equipments. The measured various electrical values and the process of investigation or engineering traceability with power and energy analyzer 3-phase with recorder, thermal imaging camera or IR camera, and electrical power clamp meter therefore knowing that an important factor that creates such problems is that the heat inside the LED screen is about 57.2 oC higher than the operating temperature as shown in the LED display data sheet is 40 oC and another important factor is the installation of LED screens such as installed inside the parking car building of the department store or shopping mall with cars going in and out about 13 hours a day which will cause vibration on the building floor at the area where the LED screen is installed until causing the terminal inside the LED system to loose and cause an arc, sparks, and electrical short circuit.
