Paper Title: The analysis of electrical energy saving and side effect from LED lamp to the Large Lightbox

Abstract: This paper presents a comparative analysis of electricity saving and side effects when used the large lightbox with LED tube lamp to sustainable energy savings. The experimental are used both types of lamps that are generally sold in the market to measure various electrical performance, power consumption rate, electric power, illuminance value and analysis the break-even point. The experiment results are shown the good effective on energy saving performance and side effects on the high temperature due to installed in the large light box of LED lamps (T8-18 Watts) with an adapter when replaced from fluorescent lamps (T8- 36 watts) with conventional magnetic ballast type for installed within the large lightbox. The analysis are shown that the LED lamps (T8-18 Watts) can be save the electricity up to 42.22% with the brightness higher than 1.89 times but a price higher than about 4.58 times with the lifetime is about 15,000 hours. Which the results of the analysis to find the payback period or break-even point is 4.53 months or 0.38 years to payback, when activated 6 hours a day, every day. So that, investors should consider an important problem is that the warranty period for the LED lamps type, when used in the large light box may not be 1 year, but may be reduced to only 1 month or not guaranteed at all due to LED tube set are not able to withstand high-temperature applications such as inside the large lightbox.
