Abstract: ABSTRACT Public health officials throughout the world have declared a state of emergency due to the unique COVID-19 virus, which is also known as the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). In the present study, the researchers wanted to find out how COVID-19 patients in Aligarh Uttar Pradesh, India, went about their lives on a daily basis. The research was carried out using a qualitative phenomenological methodology. In order to identify 16 participants, a simple random selection method was applied. A three-item semi-structured interview guide was used to gather the data, and Braun and Clark's (2006) deductive theme analysis was used to evaluate the data after it was obtained. It was determined that there were three core themes as well as seven subthemes. The physiological experience, the psychological experience, and the social experience were the three most significant challenges. According to the results of the research, the majority of participants suffered from both physical and mental health conditions, and almost half of them also had an extra disability. In light of the results of the research, the government of India need to increase the amount of safety measures it takes and work to raise awareness about COVID-19. Patients diagnosed with COVID-19 are encouraged to seek counselling in order to have a deeper understanding of their mental health. If we develop more positive social behaviours, there will be less of a need for stigmatisation. According to the researcher, more intervention trials as well as follow-up studies are required in order to assist COVID-19 victims in leading healthier lives.
