Intrauterine contraceptive device is an acceptable contraceptive method worldwide. IUCD is safe, effective and a low-cost method when used as contraception and hence is widely used in developing countries.Here we discuss a case of displaced intrauterine contraceptive devices (copper-T) is described in a 35 years old lady presented with severe abdominal pain . Copper-T was found in the omental adhesions on the posterior surface of uterus. This was managed operatively and the patient made a smooth recovery.
