Abstract

To know the behaviour of structure we analysis a G+7 RC building of same size and dimensions in two different earthquake zone III & IV of India by using Indian earthquake code IS 1893:2002 and Indian concrete design code IS 456:2000 and SAP2000 v23.1.0 software was used to analysis and design this model. After analysis two model of same dimension in two different seismic zone we compared the results of both of the structures and found that the structure which analysis in higher earthquake zone has more impact of earthquake forces due to high intensity of earthquake forces and du to which the model in higher earthquake zone contains increased in forces in members, increased in base reactions etc.
