Abstract: Transformers are the principle building block in a power system. Any damages in transformers adversely affects the balance of a power framework. The damages are mainly happening due to over-burdening and inefficient cooling. The principle target is real time observing of the health conditions of the distribution transformer using IOT technology. The parameters, for example, temperature, voltage and current of a transformer are monitored, processed and recorded in servers. For this reason, we use three sensors interfaced with Arduino. The recorded information can be sent utilizing Wi-Fi module and read from anywhere around the world using IOT technology using HTTP protocol. This helps in identifying and solving an issue before a fault occurs without human dependency.1
