Grid computing can provide the necessary infrastructure and resources to support large-scale, interactive, and multimedia-rich online learning environments, as well as facilitate access to high-performance computing and data-intensive applications. Additionally, grid computing can also enable distance education to take advantage of geographically dispersed resources, such as data and computational power, to enhance the educational experience for remote students. |
