Abstract

A simple frequency tuned triangular shaped DRA for LTE/WWAN, WLAN and C band applications is presented here. The DRA is capable of frequency tuning at different narrowband i.e. 2.235Ghz to 2.658Ghz and give constant wideband from 5.55Ghz to 7.38Ghz. The antenna is of compact size having dimensions 50×50×20mm3. Three conducting strips are attached on three sides of DRA. Frequency tuning characteristics is achieved by using capacitors which is connected to the feed network by dc slot line. The measured and simulated results are applied to demonstrate the performance of the proposed antenna.
