Comparative analysis of online and offline recruitment procedure
With the advancement of information and communication technology and the increase in internet use in the 1990s, traditional recruitment turned into online recruitment
(Erecruitment). While multinationals and IT companies are even using websites for recruitment, other companies are taking advantage of this change to become e-recruitment service providers. Most erecruitment agencies provide a free service to applicants or job seekers by submitting their resumes online to their database.
E-recruitment has become a phenomenon in which human resources departments of many organizations around the world are increasingly using information technology. In today's organizations, many jobs are being changed with the use of information and communication technologies. Recruitment, selection and placement are a function of human resources management. The use of ICT for recruitment, for example, online recruitment or Erecruitment, not only expands candidates and provides access to the whole world, but also provides a significant improvement, efficiency and effectiveness in the recruitment process.
