Abstract— This paper presents the design and performance evaluation of a compact Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antenna operating at 28 GHz for 5G millimeter-wave applications. The proposed antenna aims to enhance gain, improve isolation, and minimize mutual coupling. The design employs a dielectric substrate with a relative permittivity of 4.4 and is analyzed using Ansoft HFSS software. The performance parameters such as S-parameters, radiation patterns, Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC), Diversity Gain (DG), Channel Capacity Loss (CCL), and Total Active Reflection Coefficient (TARC) are evaluated. The results confirm that the proposed antenna meets the stringent requirements of next-generation wireless communication systems.
