OUTDOOR CHALLENGE OASIS (OCO)

Urbanization has significantly reduced the avail-
ability of green spaces and outdoor recreational areas, posing
challenges for individuals seeking opportunities for physical ac-
tivity and leisure. The Outdoor Challenge Oasis (OCO) platform
addresses these challenges by providing a digital solution that
connects landowners with individuals looking for outdoor fitness
and recreational activities. This research paper presents the de-
velopment and implementation of the OCO platform, which aims
to democratize access to outdoor spaces, promote physical activ-
ity, optimize land use, and foster community engagement. The
paper outlines the platform’s key features, such as user-friendly
navigation, booking systems, safety measures, and sustainability
initiatives. It also discusses the methodologies employed in the
platform’s design and development, including user feedback,
software development processes, and system architecture. The
results highlight the platform’s effectiveness in improving access
to outdoor activities, supporting community engagement, and
promoting healthier lifestyles. The study concludes by explor-
ing the implications for future work, including expanding the
platform’s features, enhancing community-building strategies,
and exploring technological innovations to further enhance user
experience.
