Abstract: Air pollution is a serious issue impacting public health and environmental sustainability. Here, the research examines India's daily air quality data for 2023 with an objective to map pollution trends and predict air quality levels in the future. The study uses K-Means clustering to cluster cities by their air quality trends and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) networks for time-series prediction of Air Quality Index (AQI). Through the use of these methods, we efficiently cluster locations with comparable pollution trends and forecast future AQI fluctuations, allowing for proactive countermeasures. The dataset contains significant pollutants like PM2.5, PM10, NO2, SO2, CO, and Ozone, based on the dominant pollutant the mitigation strategy is mapped. Offering a detailed evaluation of air quality trends. Interactive visualizations are further created to show pollutant levels across various regions, allowing for enhanced insight into areas of high pollution. The results of this research can assist policymakers and urban planners in designing specific pollution control measures, ultimately leading to better air quality management.
