Perceived mental health stigma, Medical students pursuing Homeopathy Discipline, Non- medical students.
The aim of this study is to compare the perceived mental health stigma among medical students
pursuing homeopathy discipline and non-medical students. The sample size for this study is 250,
in which 125 were homeopathy students and 125 were non-medical students. Perceived mental
health stigma was measured using Perceived Devaluation – Discrimination scale developed by
Link, Yang, Phelan, & Collins (2004). A quantitative research design is used in this research. The
obtained data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t-test. The findings of this study
found that there is no significant difference in the perceived mental health stigma among medical
students pursuing homeopathy discipline and non-medical students.
