Abstract: Youth entrepreneurship has become a pivotal catalyst for economic growth and community development. Youth-led business activities in Sierra Leone present a viable approach to the high unemployment and poverty rates. This research study examines the effects of youth-led entrepreneurship activities on community development in Tikonko Town. The study adopted qualitative approaches and used primary and secondary data sources to derive conclusions. The research reveals that youth-led entrepreneurship efforts have experienced substantial development in recent years, propelled by rising unemployment, restricted access to formal education, and the aspiration among young individuals to enhance their economic status. These programs typically focused on small-scale enterprises including agriculture, retail, and indigenous services, have favorably impacted community development by creating jobs, enhancing household incomes, and boosting local investments. The activities have cultivated a sense of ownership and responsibility among the youth about the socio-economic development of Tikonko Town. The research revealed that youth-led entrepreneurship projects possess significant potential for advancing community development in Tikonko Town. It was recommended that tackling critical obstacles to enhance access to financial resources, entrepreneurial training, and government policies that foster young enterprises for long-term sustainability is essential.
