This paper presents a comparative analysis of dual-bell, plug and conical nozzles taking into consideration various factors such as fuel efficiency, specific impulse, exhaust flow pattern, thermal stresses, acoustic impact, complexity of design and manufacturing under different operating conditions by study and review of multiple papers. The aim of this study is to summarize the various configurations of nozzles and contribute to future research by identifying potential design optimizations for specific mission profiles by combining the best features of each nozzle type.
