TUJS A first tribal Regional political party of Tripura
ABSTRACT:- The state of Tripura is rule by the Manikya dynasty. The dynasty founded in 1400 AD. Maharaja Maha Manikya is a first king of the dynasty and Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya Bahadur he is a last king in Tripura. Maharani Kanchan Prabha devi he was a wife of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishor Manikya Bahadur who signed on 9th September 1949 Tripura Merger Agreement in New Delhi. The princely state of Tripura join with the India union on 15 October 1949. After the 1947 independence India the first Lok sabha held in 1951 and in the Election Dasarath Deb who is participate and he won the election under East Tripura constituency. He is the first tribal MP from CPIM party in Tripura. He also elected MP in 1957 and 1962 Lok Sabha election. In the fourth Lok Sabha election and Tripura Legislative assembly election 1967 CPM totally fail. In this situation some CPM leader and employee formed the TUJS tribal base regional indigenous party.
