Abstract

This research introduces an innovative method for detecting lung diseases through the application of machine learning to medical imaging. Given the global rise in lung disease cases, prompt and precise diagnosis is essential for effective treatment. Traditional diagnostic approaches often depend on manual analysis of radiological images, which can be both time-consuming and subjective. Our study proposes a machine learning framework to automate the detection process, thereby improving diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. The methodology includes image preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification using advanced machine learning algorithms. We assess the effectiveness of our approach on a comprehensive dataset of various lung diseases, showing promising results in sensitivity, specificity, and overall accuracy. This proposed system has the potential to significantly enhance early detection and management of lung diseases, leading to better patient outcomes and reduced healthcare costs.
