The present traffic signaling system in use now is not worthy as it functions as per the timings and never bothers about the traffic density. In this regard the traffic over the overcrowded road may have to wait for long time. Therefore, this system is designed to clear the overcrowded road first. The concept is to maintain priority by sensing the traffic density in addition to the normal timings. Means in normal condition, the signaling system functions according to the fixed timings, if any side road is overcrowded than normal density, the system should allow to energize the green indicator to little more extra time by which over crowded road can be cleared. This feature is added in this system by which it can sense all 4 sides of the X roads and allows clearing the traffic with grace time when any road traffic is more than the normal. To prove the concept practically, 4 sides cross roads are created over a wooden plank for live demonstration. The present model uses Tone decoder circuit to send IR waves for detection of the vehicle movement.
