| Abstract: | A teacher, who is happy with his job, plays a pivotal role in the upliftment of the society. Well-adjusted and satisfied teacher can contribute a lot to the well - being of his / her pupils. A dissatisfied teachers can become irritable and may create tensions which can have negative influence on the students' learning process and it does as a result affects their academic growth. Job satisfaction implies the overall adjustment to work situation. The main objective of the study was to compare the Mean Scores of Job Satisfaction of Physical Education Teachers and Other Subject Teachers. It was a Comparative Study based on Descriptive Research. The data was collected from the selected schools through questionnaires filled by the teachers and when it was not possible in the school then visited them personally by online mode, with self- explanatory instructions. The scores were allotted according to the answers submitted by the teachers and the analysis was done through Independent Sample t-Test. The results of Teachers’ Job Satisfaction was significant (in which the t-value was 16.72, p<0.01 level with df = 98). The Teachers Job Satisfaction of Physical Education Teachers is more than Other Subject Teachers. |
