| Abstract: | Palynological observations of eight genera of Malvaceae collected from different localities of Nagarkurnool District during the period of Feb. 2021 to Dec. 2022 were carried out by using light microscopy (LM). The pollen types were recognised by polarity, size, shape, apertural pattern and exine ornamentation. The apertural diversity is indicated by pantoporate, triporate, tricolporate etc. Exine ornamentation indicates spinate, microreticulate forms. The pollen types shows diversity in their morphological characters and forms the most significant tool for the taxonomic study as well as systematics of plant taxa. |
