Dr. Ambedkar, a tenacious fighter and a brilliant scholar, has significantly contributed to society's pursuit of liberty, equality, and fraternity. He was the first Indian to break down the barriers to the advancement of women in India. He led several social movements to secure human rights for the tyrannised and depressed sections of society. He stands as a symbol of the struggle for social justice. He laid the foundation of concrete and sincere efforts by codifying the standard civil code for Hindus and other sections of Indian society. This paper aims to highlight Dr. Ambedkar's views and contributions to Indian society. He created awareness among poor, illiterate women and inspired them to fight against unjust social practises like child marriages and the devadasi system. Dr. Ambedkar's analysis of the caste system, untouchability, and Hindu social order was intended to bring about a homogenous Hindu society based on human values of equality, liberty, justice, and universal brotherhood.
