Abstract

A well-balanced diet is required for optimal health and nutrition. It protects you from a number of chronic noncommunicable diseases. People are pursuing dietary programmes to help them keep track of their calorie intake since health is such an essential component of our lives, and because people are now spending so much time and money on it. Unless you are a calorie specialist, it is impossible to be familiar with all of the calorie values of all foods. The proposed solution addresses this issue by providing the calorie value per 100gms of food, allowing the individual to consume the proper amount. The proposed model chooses a food image from a collection of different food photos found in the data. The image and name of the meal, as well as the calorie content, will be reflected using faster RCNN. The accuracy of the pre-trained model has been improved using this proposed technique.
