| Abstract: | Abstract: We report a case of urinary schistosomiasis detected on urine cytology. Cytopathological examination of urine samples is a routine, non- invasive diagnostic procedure used to detect diseases of the urinary tract including infections as well as malignancy, predominantly bladder cancer. A 71 year-old male presented with decreased urine output and lower abdominal pain since one month. Cytology of the urine sample was carried out for three consecutive days. |
