Abstract: The Forts have always been attracted to Rulers of the States since Ancient periods. It was a symbol of prestige, Glory, Power of Kingdom or Reign. in contemporaneous ages of civilization. The skill and practice of constructing Forts in India has recorded about 4000 BC. During Medieval period the Rajput clan of Mewar, India, were Prolific builders of various kinds of Forts in their mother Land India. The Defensive structures of Forts reflects the Story of Gallantry. Courage. Devotion, struggle and Proud of state & alertness towards Security and safety of Fort Precincts. The study reveals that in Spite of better physical terrain Conditions, geographical Landscape and resources, Rigid-intact rocky cliff hillock and strong Fortification structures that Chittorgarh Fort was marked loosing events three times in the history of Siege events by invaders/attackers.
