Abstract: 6-(substituted phenyl)-3-methoxy phenyl triazolothiadiazole are nucleus for obtaining more biologically active heterocycles. Cyclization with substituted acids gives five six membered heterocycle derivatives. In this research article we noted the synthesis of a series of 1,2 4-triazolo-1,3,4-thiadiazoles starting from 3-methoxy benzohydrazide obtaining 3-methoxy potassium salts which is stir at RT for 16 hrs to form 3-methoxy 1,2,4-triazole which is irradiated in microwave for 3-5 min. with substituted acids using as cyclizing agent like phosphorous oxychloride (PoCl3).
