Abstract: This dissertation work focuses on finding out the best combination of optimum parameters in plasma arc cutting for machining of 12mm mild steel plate. With the use of plasma arc cutting machine the cutting is possible by using different process parameters as cutting speed, arc current, torch standoff distance and gets the changes in response variables like dimensional variation and deviation. To optimization of all these parameters with multi responses characteristics based on the experimental data obtain by at Plasma cutting Industry. All output data for X and Y axis are obtained and analyzed by ANOM (Analysis of Means). In this research three process parameters (cutting speed, arc voltage, and torch standoff distance) are considered as input parameters. In this topic it covered main effect plot for dimensional variation and deviation. These three main effect plots are combined with three process parameters cutting speed, voltage, and torch standoff distance. The results are separately collected for X and Y directions.
