| Abstract: | Cloud Computing is an emerging technology which provides the facility of storing and accessing data over the Internet. Due to the increasing rate of moving data onto the cloud, high storage availability is a major concern. There have been several improvements in the cloud methodologies since the evolution of cloud computing but till now the data stored onto the single cloud does not have a very high fault tolerance which may lead to loss of data. Thus, in this paper, we propose a novel approach for high data availability and high fault tolerance by replicating data using RAID 5 Technology in Cloud-of-Clouds. The data is divided into fragments and distributed among different clouds. This increases fault tolerance and storing data onto the cloud becomes more secure and reliable. |
