Abstract:
The study also aims at utilization of industrial wastes for value added application. In addition, the wastes can improve the properties of construction materials. The need to add value to the waste to enhance building material sustainability and the use of cement alternatives in the mortar aims to accumulate the mortar with powdered glass waste and brick powders. To substitute the specific percentage of coarse aggregate, specific mechanical properties of concrete such as operability, compressive strength, break tensile strength, and bending force were tested. In this analysis the result was analyzed of partly replacing coarse aggregate with plastic waste. It also researched the impact of treating coarse plastic aggregate (PCA) with NaOH and sand heating on improving concrete bond power. Efforts were made to determine the best possible treatment for PCA.
