Embedded Control Path Planning System Using IR Array Sensor

Abstract:
This project focuses on the development of the line following robot using a sensor. This line follower robot is a autonomous robot which follows a certain path. Generally, the path for this autonomous robot is either it has to follow the black line on the white surface or white line on the black surface. The robot follows the path using an IR array sensor. Using this sensor, the line ca be detected. These sensors sense the line and sends the output of the sensor to the Arduino. The acquired input from the IR sensor to the Arduino is then given as input to the motor driver by which the direction of the robot is controlled. In this paper the components required, software used, implementation testing and results are being discussed.
