Abstract:
An experimental investigation is carried out to study the Behavior of Brick by partial replacing the clay with locally available ceramic powder and Quarry dust. The rapid growth in today's Construction Industry has obliged the Civil Engineers in searching for more Efficient and durable Alternatives for beyond the Limitation of the Conventional Brick production a number of studies had taken serious steps in Manufacturing Brick from several of waste materials. In this Project the ceramic powder and quarry dust waste are utilized as a partial Replacement Material for clay in Brick and they were tested with different Mix proportions of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%. The Specimens were casted and Compressive strength test was carried out for 15 days to find Material properties, Water Absorption test, Efflorescence test, Soundness test, structure test, Shape and size test, Density test, structural strength test were conducted, the main aim of this Project was to make Environmental 1 balance.
