Abstract: We demonstrate the effect of Cobalt, a magnetic substituent, on structural diction, dielectric relaxation, electrical conductivity and induced magnetization has been studied and analyzed in Sr0.98Zn0.02TiO3 (SZT). TheCo doped Sr0.98Zn0.02TiO3 ceramics preparedby conventional solidstate reaction method. We have been investigated for their structural, morphological, dielectric, magnetic, and electrical properties.X-ray diffraction experiment confirms that the cubic structurewith Fm3m space group.FESEM images depicted the impenetrable, compile, spherically shaped grains. The temperature dependent of zero field cooled (ZFC) and field cooled (FC) magnetization curves demonstrates a ferromagnetic to weak ferromagnetic transition. Co dopedSr0.98Zn0.02TiO3 ceramic shows weakly ferromagnetism at roomtemperature, thesaturation magnetization (Ms)value is found to enhance at RT, with increasing the cobalt ion concentration. The dielectric measurements such as the dielectric constant and loss are decreases with increasing the frequency.Frequency dependent of ac conductivity (σac) analysis indicates increases for the host material and decrease with increasing the frequency by adding the cobalt ion. Here indicatesthe small polaron hopping frequency.Cole-Cole plots confirm the grain boundary interior benefaction to the conduction process.Amendment in dielectric and magnetic properties require this material as aauspicious candidate for multifunctional device applications.
